Collective Impact

From Kania & Kramer, 2011 – Collective Impact brings people together in an organized way around five key elements (see graphic). It operationalizes principles that emphasize equity, community ownership of the complex problems and systems involved, cross-sector partnerships, system leadership skills, strategic thinking at the system level, use of data for continuous learning, acknowledgement that all work must be contextualized to local settings, and building a culture build on relationships, trust, respect and accountability.
