The Impact Center Welcomes Everett and Kirk

The Impact Center welcomes Ariel Everett, MPH and Alexis Kirk, PhD as the newest members of their team.

Ariel Everett is a Social Research Assistant at the Impact Center. Ariel supports the Center’s quality and outcome monitoring (QOMI) efforts. These efforts contribute to the active implementation and scale up of evidence-based prevention/wellbeing strategies in communities and state, regional, and national service systems. She earned her Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Bachelor degree in Global Studies with a focus on Health and Environment at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ariel’s work experience includes data management for the Federal Emergency Management Agency to direct local disaster recovery efforts and analyzing data for evidence-based programming for older adults in the North Carolina Triad.

Alexis Kirk is an Implementation Specialist at the Impact Center. She brings almost a decade of experience working in the health policy, public health, and implementation science arenas. Alexis graduated with her doctorate in health policy and implementation science from UNC-CH in 2018. Prior to joining the Impact Center, Alexis worked at the federal policy level at RTI International where she evaluated and implemented Medicare policies, focusing on end-of-life, hospice, and palliative care. Alexis brings expertise in adaptation of evidence-based interventions, provider education and outreach, as well as applying implementation science methods and approaches to on-the-ground implementation work.
