The Impact Center Welcomes DiSalvo and Chaplo

The Impact Center welcomes Christina DiSalvo, MPA and Shannon Chaplo, PhD as the newest members of their team.
Christina DiSalvo is an Implementation Specialist at the Impact Center. Her experience includes working in the juvenile justice, child welfare, and early education arenas. Christina brings expertise in supporting rural communities’ use of implementation science in the implementation and scale up of literacy and health focused evidence-based, evidence informed practices. Christina also has experience in supporting system strengthening efforts with a focus on building mutually supportive, engaged, and responsive decision-making structures.
Shannon Chaplo is an Implementation Specialist at the Impact Center. Shannon graduated with her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Utah in 2017. She completed her internship at Duke University Medical Center in the child trauma track and has extensive experience delivering evidence-based treatments including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy. Shannon recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the UCLA-Duke National Center for Child Traumatic Stress where she was involved in several implementation and dissemination projects that aimed to support the use of evidence-based trauma-informed treatments and practices across child-serving systems, including schools, child welfare, and military bases.
