We’re hiring for a Social Research Assistant position!
Position summary:
The Social Research Assistant will support implementation science projects and projects focused on the development of public programs and policies shared by Investigators at the FPG Child Development Institute. The position will be responsible for resource procurement, travel planning and reimbursement, and financial management and budget monitoring tasks in accordance with University procedures. The position will support the design, development, and management of related project systems and procedures. The position will coordinate materials for project activities and assist project teams with various project management tasks. The position will provide administrative support to regular meetings with project staff, including note taking. The position will disseminate project documents and communications about upcoming meetings/events. The position will provide formatting and copy editing support for reports and proposals.
This position will work primarily with the Rural Church – Summer Literacy Initiative support team within The Impact Center at FPG (http://ictp.fpg.unc.edu). In addition, the position will initially work with The Impact Center at FPG’s Triple P support team. The mission of The Impact Center at FPG (http://impact.fpg.unc.edu) is to catalyze social impact through effective implementation practice, primarily by building capacity in systems and communities to scale effective child-, family-, or community-support strategies for population-level or system-wide benefits. The Impact Center at FPG is a workgroup at FPG that includes implementation specialists, evaluation and improvement specialists, communications specialists, and learning and design specialists.
